This is the one iPhone 13 upgrade rumor I'm actually excited for

The iPhone 13 fast approaches and we've heard quite a number of rumors near information technology in recent months. Some suggest camera upgrades, others 120Hz ProMotion displays on the Pro models, but there'south one that caught my attention and I oasis't been able to allow it go.

It'south possible that the iPhone 13 will finally, finally, have an always-on display (AOD) option. It seems airheaded, I know, just hear me out: AOD is something you tin find on almost whatsoever Android telephone, though its true utility shines on phones with OLED panels.

To be clear, I'm non talking about having the unabridged brandish lit up in full color. What I mean is a minimal brandish setting that shows the time, date, and other pertinent info similar weather, notifications, and calendar appointments. It's incredibly helpful if yous go on your telephone on your desk and just want to catch the fourth dimension or see what notifications you lot have pending. On Android phones, the notifications will usually pop up, then relegate themselves to the app icons.
